“HANASHINJU”: The discovery of an unknown shard

In the mid-80s, Kazuo Komatsu, aspire to bigger dreams, he begins to develop original products.
The pearl being “the only gem produced in Japan”.
He therefore undertakes to create “the first pearl of the faceted world”. 1992 the first Hanashinju pearl is born, and literally translates to “Flower pearl”. The future of the company changed in 1997 when an article was published in the prestigious G.I.A (Gemological Institute of America) newsletter.

Komatsu Kazuhito, son and heir, develops and improves the pruning techniques transmitted by his father.
